Background
My solo graduate project, "Somewhere Down the Road", follows the accidental adventure of Amethyst, the main character. On her journey to find her lost cat and return home, Amethyst stumbles upon a mysterious lost city hidden deep under the mountain.
In this project, I focused mainly on level & environment design. I was constantly aiming to find the perfect atmosphere and utilizing my knowledge and capabilities to pinpoint that feeling I was after. The mechanics are as simple as they come, helping us experience the world as much as possible.
